Effective January 1, 2002 ASI instituted, through a mandate by the PA
Department of Aging, a cost sharing system.  This system is based on
the individual’s income and services they are receiving.  The following
are now cost sharing services at ASI: Adult Day Care, Home Support,
Personal Assistance Service, and Personal Care.  Consumers are
billed monthly based on a percentage of their income for the services
that they have received.
